There will be a late pledge option available through Backerkit. Sign up on the website to receive a notification on when late pledges become available.

In which languages will the game be available?
Currently, the game is only available in English. however, we have partnered up with a licensing agency that are working hard to find international publishers for Four Horsemen. And although we cannot reassure you that this will come to fruition, rest assured that any good news will be shared immediately.

My preferred language isn’t being printed, but can I expect a PDF download of the rulebook in my language?
If there is sufficient interest, then we will publish at least the rulebook in that language.

Another campaign was canceled. Will this campaign be canceled?
This is a great question, and I’m happy to give you an honest answer. I also backed the game you are referencing and was very surprised to see it canceled. Personally, I will be walking on clouds if Four Horsemen makes it to 1000 backers. At that point, shipping/production costs drop, and I would pass those savings to you in the pledge manager. That would be awesome.
Production costs are heavily tied to the number of copies produced. The best way to reduce the cost for a game is to have more pledges, which is why 1000 backers is a big milestone. I’d love to make everything cheaper for my backers, and my primary goal in this Kickstarter is to get the game to as many people as possible.
Obviously, with the amount of content Four Horsemen has, the game design cost more than the current pledge level. Great news for you all though – that investment was already spent! Excluding stretch goals and some other small issues, the game is ready to go to production. I’m hoping to ship the PDFs to China around the time the pledge manager opens. The goal set in this Kickstarter was the amount needed to go to print and the money from this run is being used solely to fund the manufacturing in China. We successfully made this goal! You guys did that! And it is really appreciated.
Canceling would just hurt my opportunity to get the game out to the world, which would foil my primary objective. I would be lying if I didn’t think I could come back with a stronger offering by mixing up how I launched and spending more time on marketing. I’ve learned a lot by launching on Kickstarter and could definitely do a better job next time (cough baby apocalypse cough).
My hope is that when you all get the game, you love playing it as much as I do. I’m hoping that you like it so much that you rate it high on BGG and that leads to more people wanting to play. Afterall, the greatest satisfaction in making a game is seeing other people play it. I love it when things click, and the players see that the only way to survive is plan things out and work together. This pretty uniformly happens around turn 3.
Anyway, that’s a lot of words to say, don’t worry about this campaign. We’re already funded. The funding amount was intentionally low, but we are already past the point needed to bring this game to life. Thanks a ton for reading!

Are the stretch goals only for the deluxe pledge?
No - everything except the neoprene mat will be added to every pledge level going forward. There is one stretch goal for the Norse expansion, but I am thinking (based on community feedback) that I will just add it to the base game.

What is the final card size and which sleeves fit them?
Relic cards and randomizer cards are poker sized (2.5x3.5). Event cards are double poker size (5x3.5) Binding rituals are square (4x4) Apocalypse scenarios are 4x6

Can I get a standee version of the all-in?
Absolutely! It’s called the Baby Apocalypse pledge and includes all applicable stretch goals.

Will everything still fit even if the cards are sleeved?
We are working on different insert options and are accounting for card sleeve sizes. There are a lot of cards in the game, and the final design needs to accommodate both sleeve and box size considerations.

What are the contents of the base game?
129 event cards 10 auxiliary cards 220 relic cards 16 randomizers 8 apocalypse scenarios + 1 Kickstarter exclusive scenario + applicable stretch goals 8 hero boards 8 binding rituals 1 world board 1 event board 1 horsemen board 290 acrylic cubes 14 standees 14 standee bases 1 rulebook 2 sheets of tokens 8 dice

Can I acquire 1 specific expansion instead of all three?
The Norse expansion is available as an add-on to any pledge. Please be aware that the Egyptian and Chinese expansions build on the Norse expansion and require that expansion to play and, as such, are available only through the all-in.
Last updated: September 07, 2023 16:56
Why can't I get the Chinese/Egyptian expansion without the Norse?
The Chinese and Egyptian expansions are additive to the Norse expansion. They rely on some of the mechanics found in that box. You can play the Chinese/Egyptians heroes in the base game just fine, but a lot of the features in the Chinese game rely on the Norse expansion components.

Can I get the dual-layered character sheets in the standee version of the game?
They don’t fit in the box, but you can get them as an add-on during the pledge manager.

What's the difference between the deluxe and base pledge?
The deluxe pledge includes a neoprene mat, miniatures of the demons (printed in red plastic), heroes, horsemen, time tracker, and first player marker, blue core cards, dual-layer cardboard, and more bling.
The all-in deluxe pledge includes all of the above but also upgraded components and minis in all of the expansions.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
